British Cemetery and Cremation Records from Deceased Online

Thanks to all of you who have responded to our regular requests to get in touch. We really value all the comments, Facebook posts, tweets and emails that you send to Deceased Online. In this week's post I look at some of the most recent comments that readers have contributed. Jackie Wealthall got in touch to say that she had visited the cemetery, and that although she had her ancestors' grave numbers, "it was impossible to find their actual graves". This week, I thought I'd share some of the inspirational messages we have received .  The gateway to Plumstead Cemetery in the Royal Borough of Greenwich A couple of weeks ago on this blog I mentioned a recent message from Brenda Moir Shout , who lives far from the UK in the Namibian desert. Brenda contacted me about the joint headstone of her great grandfather, Henry John Carlisle (1885-1915), and his son, Arthur Dowley Carlisle (died 16 July 1916 at Delville Wood), that she knew stands in Plumstead Cemetery .
